Almost finished another project

After six weeks of hanging out with elderly bachelors ever week, this coming Friday is my last day shooting with them in Guirys. I'm quite nostalgic about it already as they are some of the loveliest and most gentle people I have ever met. What is certain they are part of an Ireland that is fast disappearing. Next Friday I hope to get two more final shots and then the essay is complete. I a bit torn as to whether to have the set all black and white or mix with colour. But I think I'll have to go with the former

There will also be a burlesque performance by Ruth Frost. Please see attached flyer below for more details. Many thanks to Mara Catalan for organising this.

Ha'penny bridge at night

I've been doing stock shots of late. It's a good way to practice technique and learn the vast amount of settings on the D700. I don't normally post stock photos but I quite like this one.

Although the sentiment is a bit over the top, I really like the composition.
