Digital Photographer tearsheet

It's quite nice when some photos you've had for some time get to finally be seen by a wider audience. A couple of dusk shots from Kathmandu, Nepal were featured in the latest issue of Digital Photographer magazine in their travel feature which was cool. The light from mopeds and street fires cut beams through the dusty air, it was a pleasure to shoot but required patience, just waiting for the right moment to reveal itself, for a face to move into light or for the dying light of the day to peer down the narrow streets. Some of the building in these pictures are gone now, no doubt destroyed by the earthquake earlier this year.
